Is This Slime Safe? Borax is a popular ingredient for making slime, but beyond my own negative experience with stinky borax-based slime, there is cause for concern in using Borax to make slime.

If you are using food coloring, add 3-4 drops until the water is a shade darker than you want the slime to be. When you make this slime, the color will be diluted slightly.

This slime is not edible, so avoid making slime with younger kids who might be tempted to put it in their mouths. Seek medical attention if any of the components were accidentally ingested.
